(And Free Cake Samples, Obviously)

Planning a wedding is one of the most exciting seasons of life—but it can also feel a tiny bit like assembling IKEA furniture without instructions (and with 400 of your closest relatives offering “advice”).
Cue the epic hero music: wedding shows!!!
Wedding shows aren't just about snagging free pens or seeing how many mini cupcakes you can eat before somebody notices (although...challenge accepted!). They're about something deeper: gathering a team of people who genuinely care about making your wedding day joyful, beautiful, and full of meaning. It's where you meet the folks who get that marriage is a blessing, not just a Pinterest board come to life.
You’ll get to meet photographers (hi, that’s me!!!), florists, DJs, caterers, planners--you name it! You can touch the invitations, sniff all the bouquets (yes, even that one), sample the food, and actually talk to the people who might be standing next to you while you say your vows.
(Spoiler: clicking through a hundred websites at 2 a.m. doesn’t quite hit the same way.)
And listen, you deserve a wedding dream team that doesn’t just “work” for you. You deserve people who will celebrate with you, make you laugh when you're two seconds from ugly-crying, and honor your love story like it’s the masterpiece it is.
(Also: vendors you vibe with = less stress = more cake. It’s just math.)
Ready to jump-start your planning? Come hang out with me this weekend!
I’ll be at the Bridal Expo at Sugar Shack Farms on May 4, from 3–5 PM, along with about 30 other awesome vendors—think planners, flowers, catering, DJs, video, and more. It’s at a real working wedding venue (read: Pinterest fantasies!), and you’ll get to see my albums, prints, and chat all things wedding photography! I would love to meet you and hear about your wedding dreams!!!
(And if you're reading this after May 4, don't panic—there’s always another fabulous show coming up! Stay tuned for the next chance to come say hi and swoon over pretty things together.)
